Peyton is a PhD candidate in the Colgin Lab within the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2018. Peyton's research investigates neural and network responses of the dentate gyrus to stimuli of varying salience and ethological relevance. In his free time, Peyton enjoys training in martial arts.
